Woke up this morning

with a headache.
Actually i dreamt i had a headache and when i woke up discovered it wasn't a dream (hate when that happens)

and it felt a little chilly ....1C (33.8 F) to be exact
now after my cup of coffee and about an hour later my headache is gone and the temperature climbed to a balmy 4 C ( 39.2 F)
It suppose to be 18 C and sunny today , just the right kind of day for me.

I might grab my big camera and try to get a good shot of our resident bald eagles, so far they have been playing shy , except when i don't have my camera of course...i think they think they are being funny.
So wish me luck and maybe i will have some pictures to post later , more likely NOT ;)
I better have a look when hunting season starts (not my favorite time) because i have to dig out my orange vest, don't want to be mistaken for a duck or deer or moose.....

just looked it up and i'm good till next week and i also forgot , there is not hunting on Sundays anyway ,except for a few weeks in oct- nov.

Poor Donald, Bambi and Bullwinkle.

For their meat to eat is one thing...just for sport is another.
In a sport at least 2 of the participants have a weapon.

In March around the time of my birthday the slaughtering of baby seals for their fur begins.
Puts a bad taste in my mouth and dampens my spirits.

Glad your H/A went away and you are feeling chipper.
Have a GREAT DAY Gabi whatever you do and where ever you go. :0)

Bald eagles, you get such great birds and animals over there. The most exciting we get over the garden are buzzards, or sparrowhawks after the garden birds!

Good luck with your quest for the photos (and not getting shot).

Gosh, I hate hunting season. I know it is a fact of life, but doesn't make it any easier.

I like the kind of hunting you do with your camera. I hope they don't let loose too many fools with guns. I hope these people are real professionals and not a bunch of amateurs who just shoot at anything and do it badly. That always bothers me about hunting season. Any fool with a gun can go out shooting. I enjoyed your pictures of the eagles.
