Here is my latest try at shooting pictures of the eagle.
This is a young eagle, they will not get their distinctive marking until they are around 4 years old
If weather and access permit i will try again.

Thank you for posting the pictures, I love to see birds of prey (even if they don't co-operate and come closer for the camera ;-) )

thank you...if i ever can afford it i will buy a better zoom lens, the one i have is not to bad but i'm afraid not powerful enough for my eagle friends.
fly like an eagle.............
No eagles in my area. so you did better than me.
At least you see them. :0)
We do have hawks...that attack the birds in my yard some times. :0(
Years back a hawk came swooping down at my tiny Teacup poodle. Glad we were out in the yard with it.
I have watched hawks and eagles raise their young and fledge on ustream. So interesting to watch by live cam.
Ustream has some wonderful things to follow daily.
I think that's pretty darn good for not having a good enough zoom lens. You did capture the essence of it very well. I hope you get your zoom lens soon. Will any zoom lens fit on your camera? I have a reason to ask.
That's not bad. Pretty good actually. I would have loved to see a real eagle in flight.
