I decided to dress my blog up for winter...i know the calendar still says fall, but living in a northern climate it feels more like winter. The trees are bare, snow is on the ground and the temperatures hover around 0C (-6C right now). I enjoy this time of year, the quietness of a snowfall, walking my dogs through the woods has a soul soothing quality to it, and
I love the sound of snow beneath my boots...
( yes i clash, but I'm warm and comfortable , and i can be seen from a satellite)
Even the dogs have a contentedness and happiness about them romping through the snow.
We go for very long walks, even if the temperature dip very low. The only time we stay close to home or home all together is if the wind chill is to bitter.
People think I'm crazy that i love this time of year and when everyone complains about the cold and snow i just smile .

I love the winter look..a lot..part of me wishes we had that kind of weather..and then the other part is glad that when you are ass deep in snow I'm running around in shorts.

Right away my mind says, "what if, what if, what if."
While I do like to go out in the back yard and shovel areas around the bird feeders and make a big area for my dogs to run...I do worry about slipping and falling. ( which I have done 2xs )

*gulp* I'll be driving through NB in a month, I always dread it because of the snow and I'm thinking it's going to be 10 times worse on December 21.....

We are still snow-free here and will be till about February. Hard to believe I know but I live in a micro climate on the Avalon.

uh....it's 4:11 in the afternoon and the temperature is .....82...
It is very cold here and we do have that much snow on the ground, down to -31 with the wind chill....brrrrrr. Enjoy this beautiful season my friend, I do......:-)Hugs
The satellite reference made me laugh.. thanks for that. You can enjoy winter for me. I'll be happy to take on the hot days of summer for you. ;)
Although I do love Spring and Summer the best....... I do try and get out in all weathers because it does do you good to walk.

It's good to hear that you enjoy the winter so much. I will try to do the same. We're supposed to get snow this weekend. I'm almost looking forward to it.
