Remember back to when there were no dryers and in the winter clothes were frozen stiff as a board on the clothesline ??? Don't miss that, but the smell of clothes dried on the clothesline...I do. sniff mmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnn :0)
Gosh, I still put my clothes on the line and bring them in stiff as a board....LOL!!! I heard my first thunder of the season yesterday. Now that is sad. Mary
There's nothing like clothes dried on the line in the fresh air, is there... Thankfully I never have to use the dryer, as we have an airer which hangs from the ceiling above the woodburner so that gets used in crap weather.
Our grass is now lovely lush green again after the dry, brown grass of this summer :-)

Yes, I know the feeling!
And I remember having to get the washing in on cold winter afternoons, when everything was still and wouldn't go in the basket!
Ah, those were the days!
Thank goodness that you have a dryer!
Yeah..........theres always two ways of looking at everything.
Love the colours of your towels and I hope they dried OK.
