I'm not really a royal watcher , but i will watch the weddings.
I never forget watching William and Harry walking behind their Mothers casket. Just 3 years before that i watched my four young siblings mourn the loss of their Mother. I know the pain they felt and no matter if you are born to royalty or not the human experience is the same. Money , status or fame can not take that pain away. Harry always reminded me a little of my Patrick, the same colouring, that same grin that spells mischief and trouble. Both Boys are roughly the age of my Boys and i always wished them the best.
Today as i watched William marry the love of his life, the beautiful Catherine i wish them nothing but happiness. They seem to have it together and i hope they can make their marriage a success .

I just wrote a post about the same thing. Great minds think alike.
Wishing them a " Happily Ever After" too.
Yes, it was a beautiful wedding. I think they'll have a better chance at a happy marriage than Charles and Diana.
Well said and it was an beautiful sight; and seeing those crowds outside and palace and down the Mall, you could see the amazement on Kate's face! All the nay-sayers about the Royal Family here can say what they like, this sort of thing brings people together, and as I said in my blog, it's good to see something happy amidst all the doom and gloom.
I wish them all the best. Twas a beautiful sight.

Yes...... that sight of the young princes walking behind their mother's casket will be forever printed on my mind too.
Diana would have been so proud to see William married to such a lovely lady!
