Yep , it's my Birthday.
This song was #1 the year i was born.

I'm not going to cry though, just whine a little.
In light of what is going on in world i will try to keep it to a minimum though.
My 40's started out pretty good , I quit a job i hated , took a photography course and obtained my Canadian citizenship.
Live was good !
And then everything went to hell in a hand-basked, Life definitely took a turn off the beaten track and
I still feel a little rudderless and lost .
So before i reach my 50's i'm determent to pick myself up and try to get involved in life again..there are things that interest me and i'm looking into volunteering with some environmental groups this spring .
Of course not everything was bad...there was the birth of my two beautiful granddaughters and i cherish them more than anybody can imagine.
Who knows what is still ahead but when i think I could have another 40 years ahead of me i better get my sh$%# together.
On a brighter note it is finally above 0C and the snow is slowly melting , on a not so good note when you have 3 dogs melting snow reveals a lot that I rather would stay buried, so because it is my Birthday Hubby gets the dubious honor of cleaning up the yard later, but first he will take me out to dinner. I'm thinking Chinese or the new Thai restaurant.
