Weeds (Wild Flowers ;) )

Nature mostly gets it right
There is so much beauty out there.
I have no idea what these plants are called and they are quite abundant in our woods but when you get close they are exquisite

Wildflowers are such a gift and so nice to discover. You'd almost want to plant them in your garden.

Wildflowers are such a gift to see when you're out walking.

I love your photos, I love wild flowers. I always wanted a lawn with nothing but wild flowers. Sending big hugs.....:-)

There is nothing quite like a selection of wild flowers.

I was looking at your last post about Canada being only 144 years old.
It seems incredible that it is such a young country!

Beautiful photos! Amazing to think those grow wild all over your woods. We are experiencing a severe drought in Texas so it's nice to see some beauty.

When I lived in Kentucky people were forever looking at me weird because I used to go around digging up wildflowers and planting them in my flowerbeds.

But those are WEEDS! they'd say.

For the life of me I could never understand why, when Ox-eyed daisies grew wild everywhere, they would go to a store and buy the much less hardy Shasta daisies.

Same thing with Jonquils and Daffodils. Most of the time I prefer the wild varieties, and they are so much easier too.

Cracks me up how people are always thinking they can "improve" nature. Silly humans.

They are beautiful aren't they?

They are beautiful - and to my shame, I can't identify them! Off to get my wild flower identification book.

Wild flowers really raise your spirits.

Great photos, too!
