Rediscovering an old friend

as you can see by my new profile picture I'm a HUGE fan of Calvin and Hobbes.

I own all the Books and need to look for them so i can reread them.

I also love Asterix and Obelix and some other comics, but i think C&H is my favorite.

It is "just" a comic , but besides being funny it also has some real nuggets of wisdom.

Today i leave you with this funny :

About this blog

I believe in the cave paintings at Lascaux,

the beauty of the clavicle,

the journey of the salmon.

I believe in all the gods -

I just don't like some of them.

I believe the war is always against the imagination,

is recurring, repetitive, and relentless.

I believe in fairies, elves, angels and bodisatvas.

Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy,

I believe Raven invented the Earth

and so did Coyote. In archeology

lie the clues. The threshold is numinous

and the way in is the way out.

and the stories seeping from between their letters.
