Oh My Goodness........ thats one thing we don't have here! I have always wondered exactly what skunk smells like. I guess it must be awful. The things I would compare a bad smell to is a dead rat..... cats pee, bad eggs!

Like Maggie May I'm very glad we don't have skunks over here! I doubt our dogs would be able to learn to keep their distance either... If it moves it has to be chased!

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Sorry to hear of the skunk encounter! Dogs will be dogs, though, won't they? They always want to chase the black kitty with the white stripe!

Sorry to hear how your day has been going. Glad we don't have skunks here in Brooklyn...yet. We're getting everything else.

Been there....done that.
Didn't like it one bit.

I've been tempting the gods... walked up to within a foot of one last night to take it's picture.
It's whole back and tail is white.
Guess I didn't learn my lesson the first few times.
Dogs have a way of getting us in trouble with pole cats. :0(

You do know that if you wash your dogs in tomato sauce, it will get rid of the odor of skunk right away, don't you?

Yikes!! Thankfully, this has never happened to us, but only form luck. We often smell skunk on our roads.
