I didn't grow up with Halloween and i have to admit it never really grew on me. I do have fond memories of going out with my Boys and having to figure out costumes though. I also enjoy giving out candy.
Unfortunately where we live now we hardly get any children , our roads are to dark and long, and most people take their kids to town. But the few Children we do get make out like bandids at our house, i figure they deseve it having to go house to house in a rual area.
I hope everybody in the blogosphere who observes Halloween has a great time and don't eat to much candy ;)

I love Halloween, it's always been my favorite holiday..This is the first year ever that I didn't decorate or make something for kids..no one comes here at old farts retirement apts. but I make cupcakes and take them to friends house.but this year everything is all packed up and didn't want to both ..sad..

Trick or Treat is 5 to 8 p.m. this Sunday night.
The goblins have school the next day and the even littler goblins get tired out before 8 p.m.. ;0)
Kind of miss the days when mine went out gathering candy full of excitement.
I don't like Halloween but I always give out candy to the little ones.....:-) Hugs
Halloween isn't really happening in the Netherlands, I'm happy to say. Kids don't go door to door. I hope they never will because in the north lives the tradition of St Martin and the kids have to sing songs before they get a treat and carry a lit lantern. It's a lot of fun and a better tradition to carry on with.
