Ha ha, they have Roombas that vacuum for you, so why not a lawnmower Roomba to cut your grass? BTW, there's a Versatile Blogger Award for you over at my blog (June 6th post).

Gosh, I remember when those sit-on lawn mowers first came out. I had such fun on it, but boy, did I make a mess of the lawn.

Yes, a remote-controlled lawnmower sounds a brilliant idea! Poor Mr. G wore himself out yesterday mowing our lawns and trying to get them all finished before it rained!!

(When I say lawns, we haven't got a stately pile, its just that there's one big one one side of the path and two smaller ones the other side, divided by a summer house)

Oh, dear, that still sounds like a statley pile!!!!

A ride on mower sounds like fun. That's just what you need. It will make it a fun job. Just don't fall off.

The daughter that I talk about, mows mine.
If you have a few spare rooms.....how much would I have to pay you,to take her off my hands ?

Hi. I've known the carpet approach work for some people actually :)

The other possibility is a goat. Or any furry thing that will eat green stuff. Sadly *bears* say you can count them out of this scheme - they may be furry but they don't eat anything green unless it's a fruit pastille or a jelly baby.
