So I been patiently waiting for Georgie Porgie RR Martin to write and publish "Winds of Winter" from the a Song of Ice and Fire series. I love those books ! It has been a long time since Books held me that captive. A Friend suggested I read Outlander after I watched some episodes on Netflix.
Unfortunately I find myself skipping some chapters, mainly the nauseating , I can't roll my eyes enough romance ( Harlequin like) chapters. So I come to the conclusion I'm not romantically inclined. I will see the series through though, I'm on Book 3 and there are 4 more to go , plus some chapters I enjoy . PLEASSSSEEEE George keep your promise, 2016 can't come soon enough.

I've just started reading The Song of Ice and Fire series -- got Book 1 under my belt, and am now about to start Book 2. So I've got quite a ways to go, LOL! I enjoy the Outlander series on TV but would not be interested in the books for the same reason you aren't.

I never could get into any kind of romance book..I'm still waiting for Patrick Rothfuss to write his third book in his series..the bastard.
