I just watched the Silver Cross Mother lay her wreath at the National War Memorial. Thinking of you today and of all Moms and Dads who have lost children to war.
I am so sorry for your loss, and so thankful for your son and all of our soldiers and vetrans. My late husband served 25 years in the Air Force, today is very special for me as it is for so many others. God Bless, xo
My trip to Ottawa this year has changed me forever. I was so profoundly moved by the large number of Canadians, ordinary people who slowly made their way to the tomb of the unknown soldier, after all the politicians and dignitaries had left. I was proud to be among them. It will take me a while to process these feelings but your sone and your family will never be forgotten.
