Aging

"Aging is inevitableMaturing is optional"

So I'll be turning 50 in March.
I refuse to go gray gracefully and cut my hair.
Love current Music ...Florence and the Machine anybody ?
Still love to blast Alan Parsons in my car.
Hate Fashion and dress the way I want.

What's the problem you might ask?
The problem is ,I feel one way inside and look in the mirror and wonder who is this Woman ?

Sometimes I feel like I don't fit in this society and it's expectations.
I always marched to the beat of my own drum, but sometimes i get this nagging feeling that i'm getting to old for this !

Do I HAVE TO grow up?

No, you don't have to grow up! Our bodies age, but our spirits stay young. I know exactly what you mean about not recognizing the person in the mirror. I'm only a couple of years younger than you, so I know how you feel. Who is that woman in the mirror?? Surely, it can't be me!

We'll never be as young again as we are RIGHT NOW! So kick up your heels, youngster!

You are uniqur as every person is and you can define how and who you are and are put together. There is no right or wrong way about this.

I hit that age seven years ago. If I didn't have to grow up, I don't see why you should.
