It does look like fun. We used to go to a little pond when I was a youngster and skate, but it wasn't deep so there was no danger of drowning if the ice cracked. Mary
Wow.. that's the prettiest hockey game I've ever seen. It sort of reminded me of one very windy day when a bunch of us decided to go skating on a very smooth lake. This is years.. ok decades ago. There was a strong steady wind and it made skating difficult but we soon all had our jackets unbuttoned and held open like sails... and then we were flying.. at almost scary speeds. We'd have to close our jackets to slow down. It was an absolute blast.

I would have been scared to go on that ice. It looked like ti was not quite strong enough. They took an awful chance. Merry Christmas!
